If it’ll remain free for all eternity after the beta is over I haven’t decided yet.

If want to have a play with the beta just drop me a comment or a mail at:

Aarghh server troubles, cloth temporarily offline!

Sorry, had a server crash and had to revert to a backup.

Will re-add cloth stuff again as soon as I have time….

Something personal, balloon

By the lack of new shareable code, something personal then.

Here’s a photo compilation of a hot air balloon flight I recently made.

News Update

Well you probably thought I was being lazy, and yes at times I was ;)
But let’s be straight to the world,

I’ve abandoned my PhysX plugin for MoBu for the time being and haven’t done much development on the others either. Partly because my working life has no need for them at the moment and in the near future.

And also because I’ve been diving into writing an 3D viewer using Microsoft’s XNA in my spare time.
I know, I know, it sounds geeky but properly learning about programming 3D graphics from near scratch has been loads o fun.

No longer being scared of matrices, quaternions and writing all the basic shading things like phong, shadowmapping and 2D post processing myself feels so liberating. And I can recommend playing with this for everone seriously involved with a techie 3D job.

Anyway, I wouldn’t be surprised if the MoBu community will end up with a physics solution this year some way or other :)
And who knows, maybe I have some other tricks up my sleeve to release in the coming few months.

Greets, and thanks for all your kind words and interest

Development slowdown…..

As you’ve probably noticed there haven’t been many updates lately.

Work and life is sucking up quite a bit of energy at the moment, and stability updates for the PhysX constraint are a major struggle that I’m trying to overcome first.

Sorry

Vertex Constraint v1.01

Got the Vertex Constraint fixed now, ironically the first public release was broken, doh.

Ahem, fixed a few bugs along the way and added in the option to choose which internal method is used to acquire the vertex position/normal. In case you’ve got a scene with an insanely complex rig that has issues.

Vertex Constraint Ooops

Uhoh, I was just made aware that the v1.00 of the Vertex Constraint is broken.

I’ll recompile it again, and have a new version online as soon as I can. Sorry!

AKA Mr Brenkelmen

Hehehehe, apparently spelling isn’t Vicon’s strong point. ;)

Brows to their homepage and have a look at the main banner with quotes about Blade.
